Acquisition of ISO27001 (ISMS)

Daiwa Real Estate Appraisal has acquired ISO 27001 (ISMS) certification to establish a system for information asset protection.
ISO27001 (ISMS) Information Security Policy
By providing guidance to realize ideal usage of real estate, we contribute toward the creation of a prosperous society. To this end, we provide customers with accurate prices and information for all real estate, both within Japan and abroad, from a fair and neutral standpoint and in a way that allows us to fulfill our accountability. At the same time, we strive to enhance customer satisfaction and establish a solid base for our businesses by establishing and operating an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and continuously making improvements so we can identify and protect the information assets that our company ought to protect.
The framework for establishing the ISMS objectives is shown below. It enables us to implement the Information Security Basic Policy in a specific way.
1.
We prepare manuals that enable us to operate the ISMS in a way that suits our business situation, to ensure information security.
2.
When operating the ISMS, we take into consideration the requirements of our clients, our obligations under laws and regulations, and the security obligations specified in contracts.
3.
For even more strategic utilization of the ISMS, we constantly review the results of risk assessments.
4.
Decisions regarding the ISMS in general are made by the Information Security Council, in which our executives participate.
